The Maritime Foundation

The Maritime Foundation promotes Britain’s interests across the entire maritime sector. Its purpose is to inform and raise public and parliamentary awareness of the importance of Britain’s maritime industries, commerce and defence through education, training and research, as well as through the Foundation’s annual Maritime Media Awards.

Lost At Sea

The Memorial Book for those lost at sea with no known grave provides an enduring memorial to the many, representing a focus of remembrance for relatives, friends and the entire nation. The book is on public display at All Hallows church in central London.

The Foundation has launched Maritime Films UK as an independent film production company offering a specialised film making service to the marine and maritime sector. All profits support the work of the Maritime Foundation.
